Credit Card Payments

Air Rarotonga is using a PCI compliant online payment facility provided by Sabre. This will load on a page with a URL that contains sepg-hpp.sabre.com. We accept VISA and Master cards at the time of booking with the added security feature of 3D Secure; if your card issuer supports this feature it may show an additional verification screen where you enter some information that will only be known to or accessible by the card holder.

Most reservations made via email or telephone can now be paid online. You can do this by visiting our MY BOOKING page and enter your six digit / character Booking Reference provided by Air Rarotonga and the last name of any passenger in the reservation. If the reservation has an open balance you will see the payment time limit and a link TO PAYMENT where you can pay the open balance.

Charges on your credit card

All charges for Airline Travel booked online will appear your credit statement as ‘Air Rarotonga Ltd’.

All amounts are charged in NZD, conversion to your card currency is performed by your issuing bank.

It is normal that the amount for all passengers will appear on your card account as PENDING for up to 72 hours but usually no more than 24 hours. When you make a reservation and submit your payment details, the amount is set as pending and when your reservation has been confirmed the amount for each passenger is confirmed with your card issuer. Some card issuers will therefore replace the PENDING amount with 2 or more smaller amounts, one for each confirmed passenger. As all charges are in NZD and the conversion rate is calculated by your card issuer at the time of each transaction please note there may be a slight difference between the pending amount and the final amount(s) if your card currency is not NZD. The splitting of charge amounts per passenger at the time of settlement is common practice in the Airline industry.
