Flights between Tahiti and Rarotonga
Air Rarotonga with the support of the Cook Islands Government, Air Tahiti Nui, and the Government of French Polynesia, is very proud to announce the commencement of our first scheduled Pacific regional flight.
The new service complements the non scheduled and charter flights we have operated through the region for more than 30 years.
Commencing 13th August a weekly flight between Rarotonga and Tahiti departs Rarotonga on Saturdays at 2:20pm and arrives in Tahiti at 5pm. The return flight departs Tahiti on Sundays at 8am and arrives in Rarotonga at 10:40am.
Aside from the local travellers visiting friends and family, we believe that Tahiti will become increasingly important as a hub over which visitors will have access from North America and Europe to the Cook Islands.
It is small steps to start with one flight a week, but we are very confident that it will grow into an important connection to North America and Europe in conjunction with Air Tahiti Nui.
