Flying Angel Medical Evacuation

Medical evacuation by specially equipped aircraft is available from all island airports in the Cook Islands. Rarotonga and Aitutaki have airport night lighting permitting 24/7 operations.

All other islands are restricted to daylight operations seven days per week. Our Embraer Bandeirante turboprop and Citation II jet aircraft are equipped with approved stretcher installations and life support equipment.

Medical personnel from Rarotonga Hospital are utilised to support medical evacuations. We can also arrange international medical evacuation to Auckland, New Zealand using our own or third party private jet. Fully qualified medical teams and aircraft are available on call.
